How to join ?
Become a host family
Would you like to host a foreign student from time to time and share your culture? The Alliance Française recruits host families living close to the centre of Rouen. For more information, please contact us on 02 35 98 55 99 or fill out our contact form.
Become a volunteer
The Alliance Française Rouen - Normandie currently carries out numerous development projects and works continuously in order to improve the welcome for our foreign friends.
Do you have a little time and would you like to be useful? You have talent? (don’t be so modest). The Alliance Française is looking for handy people, green-thumbed people, translators, chaperones, cooks, artists, etc.

Job offers / internships
A member of the world’s first cultural and linguistic network, the Alliance Française Rouen-Normandie is also responsible for hosting and training future players in the dissemination of French. A key player for French in Rouen, the Alliance Française is at the forefront of pedagogical innovation in the teaching of French as a Foreign Language (FLE) for adults.

WHAT IS AN AF ROUEN AMBASSADOR ?
It is a lover of French language and culture who adheres to the values and missions of the Alliance Française, and who wants to promote the advantages of Rouen and its Alliance Française. Each person will contribute to strengthening the influence of the Alliance Française Rouen and its region at the local or international level.
WHAT IS THE ROLE OF AN AMBASSADOR ?
As an ambassador, your commitment will focus on different points:
- Promoting the Alliance Francaise Rouen-Normandie, as opportunities arise, to attract international students all over the world.
- Share your experiences about your course and your stay at the AF Rouen (blog, social networks, ..)
- Regularly share AF Rouen publications on your social networks
- Refer a student so that they will benefit (as well as you) with discounts for courses at the AF de Rouen

HOW TO BECOME AN AMBASSADOR?
- Step 1 : To become an ambassador, you must above all be (or have been) a student at the AF Rouen. You are not a student yet but you would like to register? Click here
- Step 2 : Send a request to become an ambassador by filling out our contact form
- Step 3 : Review of your application
- Step 4 : Have you been selected? Bravo! You are now an Alliance Française of Rouen-Normandie Ambassadeur! Share your experiences about your course with those around you and let us know.
